SV Surveying Ltd established in October 1988 originally named SV Land Surveying Ltd was formed to provide a complete Topographic Land Survey + Computer Modeling service to clients large and small.

The company moved to the midlands in 1992 and is now owned and run by Steve Roberts operating from a central office in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire covering the whole of the U.K. and abroad.

We undertake Topographic Land Surveys and Measured Building Surveys for Local Authorities, Architects, Consulting Engineers, House builders, and Council Departments. We have established a respect in the Industry for producing surveys of the highest quality.

Our Measured Building Surveys are carried out, using hand-held computers and laser distance measurers to produce self-checking plans before we leave site, so reducing the chance of errors and speeding-up the office drawing work.

Topographic Land and GPS Surveys from J395 per day The surveys are carried out on small sites using Leica Total Station Equipment and on large open areas using Leica GPS Equipment. They are carried out to either our own high specification or that as specified by our clients. The finished surveys are presented as either a hard copy or as a Cad file in one of the following formats: LSS - AutoCAD .DWG .DXF - MOSS GENIO.

Measured Building Surveys from 85p per sq m This service is available to Architects and developers large or small. All of our floor plan surveys are accurately measured on site by modern, "state of the art" Leica Laser Distance Measuring equipment. We use either DISTO or TPS equipment running MBS software to survey and record the floor plans. All our surveys are drafted electronically using CAD using MBS, LSS and AutoCAD V14 and V2007. As a result all our output data is available as either digital data or as a traditional paper plan.

Under Ground and Hidden Utility Surveys from J750 per day In collaboration with one of the UK's most experienced utility management companies SV Surveying Ltd is able provide a range of leading edge, non intrusive investigation services to the utility and engineering sectors. This service along with our experience in GPS and Topographic surveys provides clients with a comprehensive solution to any of the problems listed below. As well as such core activities as utility detection, we provide a diverse range of geophysical solutions to engineering problems using techniques such as Ground Penetrating Radar, Infra-red, Linear Polarisation and EM to name a few.
