| Job description: | London based Construction Company specialising in high-end residential projects (J0.5M- J1M) is looking for experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join their team on Full Time/ Part Time basis. The ideal candidate should have: - At least 3 years of experience in a similar role - Practical understanding of building construction - Practical knowledge of building materials and their current prices - Ability to estimate building materials usage on the project - Good practical knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Project Manager - Knowledge of construction contracts, terms, extension of time, loss of profit, variations on project, and valuation procedure - Practical knowledge of current Building Regulations - Good knowledge of Greater London area - Problem solving attitude - Can do attitude - Ability to keep to tight deadlines - Good interpersonal skills Responsibilities will include: • preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities • undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work; • advising on procurement strategy; • preparing and analysing project costing; • understanding the implications of health and safety regulations. • preparing extension of time, variation lists and valuation • preparing specification and quantity of materials for projects and liaising with procurement department Please send your CV, cover letter and salary expectation to info@sunriseconstruction.co.uk. |
