Very clear and full phone briefing to start. Were buying a house converted from very old cottages and were firmly steered to the right type of survey; CWH very aware of the area and the kinds of housing. The report itself was very clear and detailed, and helped our solicitor make sense of a slightly unusual plot and building. Reassuring to feel that all aspects of the property had been assessed. Not expensive given the thoroughness. All told a very good experience; recommended.

It was really easy to get a quote and to book our survey in (ours was even completed ahead of the original date we were given and the paperwork from the survey sent a few days after). We were buying a house "sold as seen" and we appointed CWH Surveyors to do a Level 2 House Buyers survey. Quite honestly, it was the best report of its type that we have ever had (and we've had a few!). Any remedial work that was needed was fully described with photos backing this up. Not only this but the surveyor let us know where to look to get any require work completed to a good standard. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again ourselves if we needed a good, comprehensive survey.

My experience with C W H Surveyors has been brilliant. I originally contacted one of their surveyors directly to discuss my needs for a home buyers survey.
As a first time buyer, i was very unsure of the process and level of survey I would need. Mr Goodwin was an absolute gem and was happy to explain anything I didn't understand, and made sure I knew what to expect throughout process.
The timeframe for booking the survey was great and I even got a call from the surveyor after they completed the inspection to inform me of how it went.
I got my survey report back within a few days and it was very easy to understand.

I had a level 2 home buyer survey conducted by this company. I have already recommended them to other people who are in the processes of purchasing houses.

I received a very thorough report from Victoria and then a follow up call to discuss it.
The only negative is it took a around 2-3 weeks for the survey to be completed, but sadly this is to he expected of a company in demand.

I would very much recommend using them before exchanging contracts to ensure you aren't buying a nightmare.

As I had a few queries, I sent an e-mail to Myles Tydeman - in response to this he arranged a phone call with me. This was really helpful as he explained some information which I was puzzled about, and expanded on some of the items he had graded.

We have used Philip Chapman twice now, once it talked us out of buying a house that needed multiple repairs and we have just had him take a look at our next purchase. To say he's thorough is an understatement, he is happy to follow up with a call to discuss the survey (and simplify it if need be). He advised us well on what needed replacing and due to his survey we ended up getting an additional 10k off our purchase!!
