Ian did our survey. He was professional, explained technical teamnologies. He went back to hime when anything is fixed and he will update us with what's left to do. Overall, he was very helpful, professional and exceptional!

This was our fourth house purchase and H&S Surveyors were far and away the best we have used. Our surveyor, Chris, was extremely professional and approachable with excellent attention to detail. He was happy to follow up the report with further clarification over the phone as needed, and even supported with additional enquiries on some matters. After our first property fell through we had a second survey by Chris on our subsequent purchase. He had advised that the first required a Level 3 survey due to its age and condition; for the second, he advised that only a Level 2 was necessary as it was a newer build. We were very happy to trust his judgement and expertise. Office staff were also extremely helpful and communicative. We would thoroughly recommend H&S.

Undertook a level 3 building survey as part of a first time purchase. Every step of the process was handled efficiently and with friendly professionalism. I highly recommend H&S Surveyors Ltd in Newton Abbott, because I received excellent service from them, from their speedy reply to my initial enquiry through to the full Level 3 RICS survey report that I received once Andrew Crossman had completed the survey if the house that Im buying in Totnes.
The report was clear and professionally presented.
Their fee was good value compared with other quotes, and there was particular attention paid to aspects of the property that I specifically was concerned about.
This was in addition to the standard checks that form part of this type of survey, and I received full details of these beforehand.
I also overpaid by 2.00 by mistake (online payment) which H&S noticed and refunded very quickly.

We used H&S for our home buyers survey on the property we are purchasing and a RICS survey for the house we are selling. Booked in and completed super efficiently and the report we got back for the home buyers survey was very comprehensive and included things we didn't see. Needless to say we will recommend to anyone that needs a survey in the future and use them again whenever required.

This was the second time using H&M Surveyors. They were quick to respond to my initial enquiry and also arranging a date for the survey. Chris phoned me beforehand to ask if I had any particular concerns about the property. The level 2 homebuyers report was provided in the timescale advised and Chris was also happy to discuss the findings of the survey once I had seen the report, which I found very useful. Chris was friendly and explained everything I needed to know. Would definitely recommend h&s and will be happy to use again in the future.

The cost is competitive with other surveyors. The completed survey report was sent to me within two weeks and was sent via email and paper copy. The quality of the property survey was in-depth and invested for a level two survey and valuation.
The individual that completed my survey was Andrew Crossman, who had highlighted a few issues with the property and I had relevant documents that confirmed a few of the issues raised from the survey such as the fensa status of the windows and the checks on the boiler, gas and electrical checks.
A query raised by my solicitors that I directed back to Andrew a few weeks after the survey he quickly and in detail offered his professional opinion.
