Services
Land Surveying
Our land surveying services provide precise measurements of terrain and features for construction and planning. Using GPS and GNSS technology, we deliver accurate data for highways, flood risk assessments, and boundary disputes. Clients benefit from detailed contour maps and cross-sections essential for infrastructure projects.
3D Laser Scanning
We utilise high-speed 3D laser scanners to capture detailed building and site data. This non-contact method produces point clouds for BIM models, heritage preservation, and hazardous area surveys. Clients receive 2D drawings, 3D models, and Revit files for efficient design and construction workflows.
Site Engineering
Our site engineering ensures accurate positioning of structures through grid lines, datums, and verticality checks. We support projects from foundation setting-out to final as-built surveys, minimising errors and ensuring compliance with design specifications for roads and buildings.
Measured Building Surveys
We create detailed floor plans, elevations, and cross-sections of existing structures. These surveys support renovations, extensions, and compliance checks, providing architects and engineers with precise data for design and planning purposes.
Section 38/109 Drawings
We prepare as-built surveys for highway adoption agreements, ensuring compliance with local authorities. Our CAD drawings verify road positions and levels, facilitating bond release and formal handover of new public highways.

We engaged CD Surveys to produce a Topographical Survey for a property we recently purchased. Throughout the project the team were a pleasure to deal with. They quickly understood our requirements, made an appropriate recommendation at a competitive price and once confirmed, the work was carried out quickly and accurately. I have no hesitation in recommending CD Surveys, the whole process from start to finish was flawless, I wouldn't change a thing.

Andrew and his team squeezed us in at short notice, were very helpful onsite including being flexible enough to add an area or two outside of their scope (without fuss or any additional charge). After the onsite survey they turned the drawings around quicker than promised and were great communicators and very patient (when I was hassling them). We also found them to price competitively. Very happy.

We recently contracted CD Surveys to produce floor plans for all the properties in our portfolio in the area of Canterbury, Kent. We also required three site plans for properties which we propose developing this year. It only required one short meeting for us to brief their surveyor who immediately understood our requirements. The job was completed on time and the results were excellent. Their equipment was state-of-the-art and the surveyors highly professional and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure dealing with CD Surveys and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing surveying work. - Apthorp Record Housing
