Surveys
Report
Choosing the right survey to suit the type and age of the property and your particular needs is an important part of your purchase. We have included brief descriptions of the types of survey available, but would encourage you to contact us to discuss your specific requirements. We do not recommend reliance on the Lenders Mortgage Valuation.
Snagging Inspection
Report
For brand new or recently refurbished properties we offer a detailed inspection, designed to provide you with a list of items which have either been overlooked, inadequately completed or in some other way fall short of expectations. An agreement can then be reached with the seller to remedy these items prior to your occupation.
Party Wall Matters
Report
The Party Wall etc. Act 1996 provides a framework for preventing and resolving disputes in relation to party walls and excavations near neighbouring buildings. Anybody proposing to carry out work described in the Act must give their neighbours (Adjoining Owners) notice of their intentions. Early advice needs to be obtained to check whether the Act applies and if so, ensure that the necessary Notices are served in good time to avoid delaying the start of the work.We act for private individuals and for developers, representing both Building Owners and Adjoining Owners.
Defects Analysis
Report
There are occasions when you don't need a Survey of an entire property, but something is wrong, and you would like to know what is causing it and how to resolve it. Whether the problem relates to possible subsidence or rising damp, poor workmanship, or inadequate maintenance, we have the experience to diagnose the cause of the problem and advise on the remedy.
